Personal Attention to Patients

Personal Attention to Patients: The "Best Medicine"

The road to recovery is best traveled with gentle and caring professionals. Our caregivers will listen and honestly discuss your medical care with you. Their foremost concern is for your well being. Educational programs and support groups are available to teach patients and family members how to live with ongoing medical problems, such as cancer, diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis. A chaplain is available to explore spiritual issues and help patients and their families cope with the changes a serious illness or injury can bring.

We believe in a climate of mutual trust and respect. Our patients' needs are our highest priority and we recognize the emotional and spiritual values of our patients and their families.

Baptist Regional Medical Center provides clinical training opportunities for local and regional colleges and universities, including an on-campus associate degree in nursing program with Lincoln Memorial University. This program makes it possible for Southeastern Kentuckians to stay at home and earn nursing degrees.

Finally, Baptist Regional Medical Center goes beyond the hospital walls to reach out into our community and bring the good news of better, healthier and happier living to our neighbors. In May 1996, we opened Baptist Family Fitness Center, a wellness center to help area residents get into shape and reap the benefits of a regular exercise program -- longer life, more energy and less stress.
